Ingredients:
- 4 high quality chicken and apple
sausages
- 3 mushrooms
- Low fat cooking oil
- Whole-wheat loaf (8 slices)
- Low fat cheese
- 1/2 a green onion - Diced
- 4 small eggs
- 1 dollop of Mustard
- eggsubstitute
- Salt & Black pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Chop up the sausages and mushrooms and cook on a
skillet over medium heat for approximately five minutes.
- Add in the bread crumbs and some cheese and mix
thoroughly.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish coated in low fat
olive oil and add the left over cheese on top.
- Mix egg and egg substitute and whisk. Pour the
mixture over bread cube mixture. Cover and cool in the fridge overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 360 degrees and add the casserole
(which has been left out to cool for half an hour) for 45 minutes to bake.
