Cook Yourself Thin Recipes -Dairy Free

What is a Dairy Free Diet? Some find dairy produce tough to digest or have a dairy or lactose (the sugar in milk) intolerance. For a more healthy diet and reduced dairy intake, follow this free advice from “cook yourself thin recipes.com”.

What is it?

The specialists state that humans only really learned to digest cow's milk a few thousand years ago. This may seem like a long time but in terms of life that is not very long. This could be the underlying reason why so many people in today's populations struggle to still digest it as efficient as others. This basically results in an accumulation of fat. So this is were the entire Dairy free diet evolved from; to keep away from products such as cheese, cream and yoghurt, basically anything produced from milk-based produce.

The top reasons why individuals should follow a dairy free diet.

1.  If you're allergic to cow's milk, a dairy free diet will prevent allergic reactions like rashes, vomiting and or anaphylactic shock.

2. If you're lactose intolerant, it means your body struggles to break down lactose which is the natural sugar found in milk. By cutting out dairy products, your digestion and general health will improve. Find out more on Lactose Free Diets

Milk Cheese & Dairy - Weight Loss

A few years ago when science wasn't as developed, many people used to completely cut milk & cheese et cetera from their diet to reduce the intake of huge fat content. This was before the availability of low fat milk and skimmed milk.

However, research is leading us to believe that milk and dairy could actually aid in weight loss and to be specific, the weight around our stomachs.

So what is the truth with dairy and weight loss?

To sum this query up quickly, it is imperative that we include at least a little dairy in our diets such as milk and cheese for the reason that they are filled with required nutrients needed to maintain a healthy body. Without a healthy body, fat breakdown will be at a minimum. Not only is dairy one of the primary sources of Ca2+ in the diet, needed for strong bones and teeth, it also provides us with zinc, B-Vitamins and protein.

Although it is obvious that there is an excessive fat content that we would rather not be there, we can take alternative variants such as low-fat, skimmed and semi skimmed milk and other low fat alternatives of yoghurt and cheese.

"A half pint of low fat milk has approximately 95 calories and 0.3 grams of fat content".

That is good considering that many people think  dairy is the worst in the world. Changing to reduced fat dairy produce doesn't mean that you will miss out on all the essential nutrients such as calcium. In fact, research has shown that there is slightly elevated concentrations of calcium within these products.

Further research has demonstrated that dairy may aid in weight loss and says that children and adults who eat dairy will have a smaller 'weight, body mass index' (BMI) and overall being skinnier than people who don't.

It is now thought that the Calcium levels in Dairy produce can help to drop the weight by helping fat breakdown. To help the calcium along, it is also thought that properties such as linoleic acid, amino acids and whey proteins have a little boost in this fat breakdown process.

Investigations in the past have demonstrated people who include dairy in the Diet have had a higher success rate in losing weight in comparison to individuals who don't. What is even more surprising, a lot of the weight that was lost was from around the mid stomach region.

Which Dairy Can I Eat for Losing Weight?

Try for reduced fat products including skimmed. Keep cheese in your diet as well but simply go for low fat. There is no secret method, but all the basic common sense aspects you can think of.

Try for 3 servings of dairy food every day. Even if it is only a glass of milk (low fat) and a bite of low fat cheese. This is a simple guide, you can take more or less if you desire.

If you want to completely cut out Dairy then try a Dairy Free Diet.

This would consist of no milk, cheese, butter, ice cream or foods that comprise any dairy ingredients.

Watch out when your on a diary free diet?

Read the labels of processed food - reading the labels on everything is probably safer. You'll learn which products use milk proteins in their products (Lots of cakes, mixes and gravies can include lactose). Also watch out for processed meats which often contain milk protein.
