Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients:

  • Low fat oil 
  • Small onion diced 
  • 600 grams of roasted turkey 
  • 300 grams of left over gravy 
  • Worcestershire sauce (optional) 
  • Leftover vegetables (optional) 
  • 500 grams of mashed potatoes 
  • Salt and Pepper 
  • Low fat butter 

Preparation:

  1. Using a skillet, add in low fat oil and cook the onion until lightly browned. 
  2. Add in the turkey, gravy, Worcestershire and vegetables. 
  3. Spread the mixture in a large casserole dish (coated with low fat oil and then spread over the mashed potatoes 
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the potatoes and finish with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. 
  5. Place in oven and cook until warm through out and the potatoes are golden brown.
